Car Sick Kids

Many kids get car sick easily, and it often has to do with the vestibular system. This can be especially problematic in stop and go traffic or winding roads. This can be more difficult for a child who may already be overloaded and dysregulated (as often happens with transitions). Here are some simple ideas to use in order to help support kids that struggle with this (especially on longer car rides). Focusing on helping to reduce sensory overload and support regulation can help. ⁣
